A Path: Free quote.

Preliminary phone call to qualify one another to be a good match for business (includes a ballpark quote).

Free visit to inspect the property by a qualified lead technician . (Takes 20-30 mins) No sales will be made or pushed.

Rough load calculation to match your house heat and cool load. (this is still an above industry standard, educated guess) We are doing a rough load calculation guessing on things that we do not have testing numbers to base off of. NO guarantees of perfect comfort will be made as it would be with a formal path B. Often this is for a “like for like” equipment change out (unless you currently have no central AC or heat). You can transition to path B and reschedule at any point if you feel it is needed for your home.

B Path : $400

Same as path A, except we will come out with high end testing equipment for measurements and more accurate load calculation. This is our best shot at attaining perfect comfort in your home. (2-3 hour visit).

All paid reports can be shared with other companies. If you paid for them, you own them. We encourage multiple quotes. Most importantly to us is a trusting relationship.

Preliminary phone calls are required for any path visit as to eliminate wasted time for both parties and only take 10 mins.

HVAC 2.0 Contact Form

Contact Us

Since an HVAC system is a 15-20 year decision, we try to help our clients understand their options and make the best choice for them.

Please answer these on a scale of 0 to 10 with 0 being no problem and 10 being a big problem. Feel free to elaborate on each one. We find these work best if you take a moment to think about them before answering, so please take as much time as you need for each one.

Is it warmer when you walk up the stairs? Does it feel sticky some days? Do you notice odors on humid days? Is any room noticably warmer than the rest of the house? Is it hard to fall asleep sometimes because of the heat?

Do you use a blanket when watching TV? Do you wear slippers because the floor is chilly? Is one room a bit colder than the rest of the house? Do you stop using any rooms because they are too cold in winter? Do you use a lot of lotion because of dry skin? Is there a cold waterfall of air down your stairs?

We breathe 3000 gallons of air per day, mainly in our homes. Buildings effect our health, for example childhood asthma has been causally linked to damp buildings. By understanding any health concerns, we're more likely to be able to help.

A free quote is the industry standard and is what we recommend for those scoring less than 12. These take 20-40 minutes.

A Comfort Consult helps both you and us better understand what you would like to fix about your house, what your house might need to achieve those, and what it might be worth to solve those problems.

We'll ask a bunch of questions, run a very fun test called a blower door that finds out how much your house leaks and where, and then we'll run a load calculation so that we can recommend the right size piece of HVAC for your home. It's counterintuitive, but smaller equipment makes a house more comfortable, you can read more about that in the HVAC 101 guide I will send you.

Recommendations and pricing can be provided during our on site visit but our company does not believe in the high pressure sales tactics commonly used in the HVAC industry.

Let's set up our visit. What day/time works for you and your partner? Free quotes usually take 20-40 minutes, Comfort Consults take 3-4 hours. Pick a couple top choices below:
